Beccles Lido Limited (BLL) was set up in 2009 by Shaun Crowley, Suzanne Gibbons and Maureen Saunders to acquire the old and neglected heated open-air swimming pool in Beccles and to create Beccles Lido. BLL is a company limited by guarantee and a registered charity, and BLL Directors are Trustees of the Charity. Having established Beccles Lido as a successful, community run enterprise, BLL acquired and now also manages Beccles Public Hall & Theatre and Big Dog Ferry. To support this expanded portfolio, new Directors Sue Bergin, John Cushing, Terry Dentith and Eric Wareham were appointed to the Board at the beginning of 2012. Sue, Terry and Eric have since resigned. In 2020 Vicky Russ joined the Board, and in 2021 Jane Claridge and David Howson joined.
